Now that summer is out and fall is in, who says in order to be warm you have to look frumpy. Take a look below to see how to guarantee your flyness for this fall.

  1. Military: Whether its cargo pants or a simple army inspired t-shirt dress, the military trend is here to stay.
  2. Leather: Rock glam is all the rage. From leather shirts to leather gloves don't be afraid to go for an edgier look.
  3. Velvet: "What is that velvet?" Its baaa-aack and with a vengeance. Feel free to go for a tailored velvet cobalt jacket, gray cigarette pants, and 5 inch black platforms- you're ready to go.
  4. Vampy Lips: Feel free to rock this look. From juicy cherry red lips to deep lux purples, feel free to go for the Twilight gothic inspired look.
  5. Leopard: Bring out the inner animal in you. Leopard is going to hawt this season and why not indulge on it. Remember, this print serves as a neutral. Don't be afraid to mix and match.
  6. Metallics: All that glitters is gold, or silver, or bronze, or copper. Rock these colors on your nails, lips, eyes, or anywhere you deem fit.
  7. Fur: Don't scream for PETA just yet. You can certainly wear fur- faux fur to be exact- if you don't want to hear door-knocks. So wear little fur details like scarves, vests, hats, and etc. You don't want to go out looking like a Grizzly bear.
  8. Thigh- High Boots: Pretty Woman may be the first thing you think about when Julia Roberts wore those forsaken patented leather boots and was scantily dressed. You don't have to look like a prostitute when wearing these boots. Proportion is the key. When in doubt throw on a boyfriend blazer and roll the sleeves up. I recently purchased a couple of pairs and I am in l-o-v-e!

Which ever you chose, it is important to wear your confidence and let you inner diva shine through. And if they hate just whip your hair back and forth.

  1. I feel like thigh high boots wont look right on me especially since Im short. Do you have any tips on how to wear this and having a short torso?

  2. With these boots you will want to create an illusion. For example if you have black boots wear opaque leggings to elongate your legs. Chose colors in the same color palette but don't be afraid to put pops of colors in there.

    Thanks for reading.
